| Yes, i think is about Cluj... in the summer of 2003... pilot Mihai Pall died...
before the taking off, seems hi forget to switch the fuel from secondary tank to the main tank... so engine stop at short time after taking off... | |

The accident happened on 21'st june 2003 at about 19:00 local time...it crashed on Elicei street a few feet from the airport fence,the engine stoped just after take off...the pilot tryed to make a turn,back to the field because there wasn't any more runway in front to safely stop,but the a/c stalled and crashed. here's a link to some photos of the YR-EWB after the crash from MEDIAFAX(on the bottom) http://www.mediafaxfoto.ro/Photos.aspx?fm=lSearch&q=accident%20aviatic&pt=0&p=11 | |
