Romanian beverage manufacturer Daily Group has signed a cooperation agreement with local charter specialist Cobrex Trans for the joint operation of a pair of B737-300s on charter flights out of Suceava.
The first of the two aircraft was recently ferried to Bucharest to undergo certification following which it will be added to Cobrex Trans's AOC and positioned to Suceava for summer operations.
A spokesman for Cobrex, Constantin Apavaloaie, told a press conference last week that the longterm objective was to transition to scheduled passenger flights.
Until now, Cobrex has specialized in helicopter charter flights operating a fleet of Eurocopter SA365s.
