The passengers were taken to hospital with ear problems after the plane landed at Limoges International Airport on Monday as a "safety precaution", the company said.
Terrified passengers told how they had feared for their lives as the aircraft plummeted and oxygen masks dropped down.
The plane was heading to Barcelona-Girona airport from the southwestern British city of Bristol.
