Poiana - Risnov MiG-17

MiG-17 '733' is reported at Poiana - Rsinov - Officers’ holiday club

Where is this? There are a lot of Poiana's in Romania!

It is Poiana Brasov, the facilities for military pilots are on the way from Poiana Brasov to Rasnov. The place is called "Cabana Aviatorilor".
Location is: N45.589552, E25.524013

Maybe somebody knows better, but I haven't seen an aircraft there for a looooong time.

I think there is a mistake with that MiG at the "Cabana Aviatorilor".First of all is not a MiG-17 because there is no registration with that number on RoAF MiG-17's.Exactly was a MiG-15 with the registration "827".

Yes you are right. Scramble list the MiG-15 '827'.

I remember the MiG-15 was there not very long ago (10-12 years, I think). I would like to know what happened to that plane. Maybe it was taken away after the "Cabana Aviatorilor" took fire? Would it be the one stored somewhere in the yard of the ROAF Academy in Brasov?
I only remember my son hid in the fuselage of this plane when he was very young and I was kind of scared as I could not find him.
